Voddie on CNN

Ok, so I don't talk politics much. In fact, I rarely talk about it with anyone other than my wife or a few trusted friends that will still hang with me even if we sharply disagree on candidates and issues. Other than that, I'm not going to risk a friendship over a candidate.

That being said, the Reverend Casey Cease sent this my way today...I have thoughts, but let's see what you guys have to say and we'll go from there.

  2. Voddie! Gotta love his stand on scripture! Has there ever been this much Bible on CNN?...wow...

Okay, so. Hmm. I'm struggling here. I think I understand the point Voddie is trying to make, but he's not addressing a bigger issue.

What does a woman do with the gifts God has given her? What if Beth Moore believed she should just lead Bible Studies out of her home? What about the Proverbs 31 woman - taking initiative and working for her family?

A Jesus-loving woman comes under the authority of her husband, who is under Christ. Together they pray about what God is calling them both to do for His Kingdom.

If Todd Palin were to feel like his wife was just blazing this trail on her own, without his blessing and support, that would be different.

Only God knows the hearts and minds of these candidates. So, who's Voddie gonna vode for? :) Sorry, couldn't resist...
