Good Quote on the Lukewarm

Lukewarm people probably drink and swear less than average but besides that, they really aren't very different from your typical unbeliever.  They equate their partially sanitized lives with holiness, but they couldn't be more wrong.

  1. I just read that! I found CrazyLove last week and had to buy it. Very convicting and has my brain on over-drive right now...

  2. This is a great book! I appreciate your desire to take it slow. This book hits to the gut of us all. I have been overwhelmed at the reality of how much we talk about what the "christian life" should be like.

    What about following Jesus?
What about losing the rhetoric and really living?

This is what I like most about the book. The challenge is in the everyday. Do we love well, do we speak truth, do we love well, do care for the poor, do we sell everything, do we love well, do we attribute to God our life or just die and receive life to the fullest?

Good stuff. I am very lukewarm. This is hard to admit, but it is true. The challenge for me is not to sit in the knowledge of my condition. Move. To just know something and do nothing seems to be nothing like Jesus and more like the people he called white washed tombs.

    I have said enough.
